Privacy notice

Updated September 20, 2026.

BentoStream has no account system and cannot read your Twitch password, login cookies, or private chat messages. Login and chat are handled inside Twitch's own pages and embeds. BentoStream adds no analytics or advertising trackers and does not sell your saved setup.

Your channels, selected stream, layout, and preferences are saved in this browser's local storage to restore your setup. They remain until you change them or clear this site's data. Profile picture URLs are cached locally and reused for up to 24 hours; expired cache data may remain in browser storage until the app next runs or you clear it. Live status is held temporarily in memory. Your saved setup is not uploaded to a BentoStream server; exporting and sharing it is your choice.

Your browser sends channel names to Twitch for video and chat and to DecAPI for public profile picture URLs and live status. Images load from Twitch's image servers. These requests expose your IP address and browser information to those services. Twitch may use cookies and similar technologies for login, playback, advertising, and measurement. Cloudflare hosts BentoStream and processes request information to deliver and protect the site. Each provider handles its own data under its privacy notice:

To delete your local setup and cached data, clear BentoStream's site data in your browser. This does not delete data held by Twitch, DecAPI, or Cloudflare. Their privacy notices explain their retention and privacy choices. Browser controls let you restrict third-party cookies, although doing so may prevent embedded login or chat from working.

For privacy requests or support, contact Luke O'Malley at luke@lukeomalley.xyz. Information you send is used to respond to your request. Do not send passwords or other account credentials.
