BentoStream

About BentoStream

BentoStream is a free Twitch multiviewer for watching up to six live streams in one browser window. Follow a tournament from several players’ perspectives, keep up with friends, or watch your favorite channels together on desktop or mobile.

Create your Twitch multiview

  1. Enter Twitch channel names or channel URLs on the home screen.
  2. Open up to six streams and choose a profile to focus its audio and chat.
  3. Arrange your streams, adjust the volume, and switch between grid and focused view.

No BentoStream account or installation is needed. Your saved channels and preferences stay in this browser. Share a link to your open streams so someone else can open the same multiview.

How it works

Save as many channels as you like and watch up to six streams at once. Click a saved profile to open or select its stream. Use Hide in Manage streams (+) to stop watching it. Hidden channels stay saved, so you can switch what you watch without adding them again.

Tap a saved profile to switch audio and chat together. Only the focused stream plays audio. Use the top bar to change volume, show chat, or manage your saved channels. On desktop, drag channel profiles to reorder them. On mobile, swipe through saved channels. Phones start with one large stream; use Grid to see all open streams. Chat has Hidden, Half, and Full presets. Add or remove channels with the + button. Hold Control or Command and drag anywhere in a stream to move it independently of the profiles above. Release the key to use Twitch’s player controls again. Press Escape during a drag to cancel. Reordering keeps the selected stream and its audio unchanged.

Outside Twitch controls, chat, dialogs, and text fields, press 1 to 6 to focus a stream, M to toggle audio, C to toggle chat, X to close the selected stream, or F to show only the focused stream. Escape returns to the grid. Arrow keys select the neighboring stream in that direction, using the grid layout even in focused view. Hidden playback in focused view is best effort. Selecting a paused stream requests playback using Twitch’s reported events. Use Twitch’s player controls to play or pause. Reloading starts muted. Settings includes a data saver preset and optional pausing of other streams; paused streams may take longer to resume.

BentoStream and Twitch

BentoStream is an independent project by Luke O'Malley, not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Twitch. It adds a multiview layout, saved channel setups, and coordinated audio and chat to Twitch's official embeds. Twitch and channel content belong to their respective owners.

Twitch controls playback, advertisements, chat, subscriptions, and account access. BentoStream does not block ads or bypass restrictions. Twitch Turbo and subscription benefits depend on Twitch and your browser; ad-free playback here is not guaranteed.
